  • Description

Original WWII NNC Navy Nurse Corps hospital work uniform dress and belt. Named to Janet S Keller.

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 38"
    Waist on Dress - 26 1/2"
Waist on Belt - 26" (tight)
    Hips - 37"
    Length - 42 1/2"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to full length) - 25"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to where cuff should be folded) - 22"

Made of starched cotton twill and closed by detachable white pearl buttons with cotter pins. It comes with the belt. The belt has a nametag sewn on the end. The dress has her name written on the inside label but the label is very washed out and hard to read. The dress has a small breast patch pocket on the left side and a big patch pocket on the right side of the skirt. This is an interesting model as the skirt has snap closures instead of buttons. The cuffs should be folded and closed with white cuff links. Navy Nurse Corps insignia should be worn on the collar (cuff links and insignia not included).

CONDITION: AS-IS with flaws. There are a lot of of small little specks/stains scattered throughout the dress. I don't know if they will clean out. Some staining along where the cuffs were folded.

There is a 4" hem on the bottom so it could be lengthened if needed. There is also room on the belt to make new holes and move the shank buttons.
