Description
Original decent condition M40 great coat marked to Gebirgsjäger regiment 136! There is even a light shadow on the sleeve where there was once an edelweiss. It fits an American size 38 pretty well. I wear a 38-40 and it is a good to slightly tight fit. It has a bit of a German stank to it, so prepare your nose. It looks like it might have had officers fixed should boards at one time, then they were cut out and the soldier replaced them with string loops or regular shoulder boards. There is, unfortunately, some moth damage. The worst of it is right in the front, the rest is very minor. It is a beautiful coat in relatively good condition for an issued and well used piece.
